The Mummy’s Claw Auditions

Mike Phillips is set to direct Tahlequah Community Playhouse, Incs.’s second play of the 44th season, “The Mummy’s Claw”, written by Mark Chandler. Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, September 18 and 19, at 7 p.m. at St. Basil Episcopal Church, 814 N. Vinita Ave., Tahlequah , OK. The play takes place in the Nile Valley in 1903 at a party in the home of archaeologist Sir Nevil Blore. The evening becomes a laugh-filled struggle for survival when the translation of some stone tablets conjure up an ancient evil. It’s a hilarious romp through Egyptian temples, ancient incantations, terrifying socery, and hideous pest with countless twists and surprises. The cast consists of eight women and four men. Show dates are November 10-12, and November 17-19. All performances are held at the Tahlequah Armory Municipal Center, 100 N. Water Ave, Tahlequah, OK. Back stage help, costumers, light and sound technicians, make-up artists, prop gatherers and handlers, etc. are also needed. Come to auditions to sign-up to help.
