Tahlequah Community Playhouse’s 52nd season includes four incredible shows: the toe-tapping musical Kiss Me, Kate, the thrilling mystery The Game’s Afoot, the southern-fried comedy Red Velvet Cake Wars, and the classic whodunit Murder on the Orient Express.


The Game’s Afoot

Tahlequah Community Playhouse, Inc. presents “The Game’s Afoot” by Ken Ludwig and directed by Mike Phillips and Paula Reif.

STORY: Broadway star William Gillette throws a holiday party in his castle—what could go wrong? A murder, for starters. This fast-paced mystery-comedy is packed with twists, laughs, and theatrical flair. Think Clue meets Sherlock Holmes with a side of slapstick.

VENUE: First Presbyterian Church, 315 E. Shawnee in Tahlequah, OK

DATES: November 14-16 and 21-23, 2025 – Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m.. and the Sunday shows begin at 2:00 p.m. 

TICKETS: Tickets for Dinner and Show are $35 each (reservations for dinner must be made by the Wednesday before the performance you wish to attend). Show Only tickets are $15, $10 for students. The dinner is catered by Red Rooster Bistro and Bakery in Wagoner, OK. The menu will be announced as we get closer to the show dates.   

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, with dinner at 1:00 p.m. The show begins an hour after dinner.

Red Velvet Cake Wars – February 13-15 & 20-22, 2026
Three Southern cousins plan a family reunion to remember—bless their hearts, nothing goes right. With outrageous characters, family feuds, and dessert disasters, this laugh-out-loud comedy serves up sweet chaos with a whole lotta charm.


Murder on the Orient Express – April 10-12 & 17-19, 2026
A glamorous train. A mysterious murder. Twelve suspects. One world-famous detective. Agatha Christie’s classic thriller comes to life in this stylish, suspenseful ride full of intrigue, wit, and perfectly timed mustache twirls.

Performance venues will be noted for each show. Reservations for Dinner/Show must be made by 5pm the Wednesday prior to the show you wish to attend.
