    Conversations with a Suffragette

    Tahlequah Community Playhouse presents Conversations with a Suffragette, a one-woman show in which actress and author Megan Burnett brings to life a leader of the women’s suffrage movement in 1870 Kentucky: Mattie Griffith Browne. The first of two performances will take place Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. as an afternoon tea. Light refreshments will be served followed by the performance and conversation with the artist. The second performance will be at 7 p.m. and will include wine and cheese before the show. Both performances will be at the Unitarian Universalist Church (104 N. College Ave.).
